I am interested in their model, as it is not (technically) a for-profit. Meaning, they are not answering to shareholders. So far, I like what I see with this company based on their history and mission statement. Any thoughts?

Great benefits and great company. I wish they had them all over. I worked there about 2.5 years. As you know, it's all about management, coworkers, and the feel of the clinic. But I LOVE the company! Non profit is nice... Lots of pto, smaller, family feel to it, opportunities to move up..

Thanks NurseRies,
How long ago was this?
Dialysis companies (NFP and For Profits alike) are feeling the pinch of CMS cuts. And so, what was a "blissful" company to work for yesterday may not be so today. Nature of the beast I suppose.
Still, I'd rather take a couple dollars of pay cut (assuming work conditions are optimal) in order to preserve patient care, rather than preserve shareholder returns.
