Hey, I just wanted to see If there are OR nurses assigned in this specialized area? Ill be working at this dept in a few months and just wanted to have an idea of how its like to work in a place like that.

I have an experience back home in the same area. (Im from the Philippines by the way) but Im fully aware of the differences in facilities and system you guys have. It would be nice to be prepared for this new working environment.

Thanks!

I spend 2-3 days per week in eyes. Most days it's just cataracts. We also do scleral buckles, trabectomes, trabeculectomies, vitrectomies, and some other random procedures. We're starting corneal transplants next month :yeah: Whoever thought I'd get excited about corneal transplants? I'm such a dork :specs:

If you have any specific questions about how the room runs I'd be happy to try and answer them.
