Once, in an interview (non-nursing job), I was asked that age-old question, "Tell me about some of your strengths and weaknesses". My reply for my weaknesses:: "I'm always late." Needless to say I didn't get the job.
First week at my first CNA job ever - blind patient asked if he could hold my arm so I could guide him to the dining room for dinner. I offered my arm out and said "Of course, its right here!"....took me a couple of seconds that it wasn't too much help to the guy who couldn't see where "here" was.

Oooh I've been guilty of that one! Once again, as an aide I remember totaling I and O on my last round. Every once in a while I would slip up and ask someone who's been NPO all day "How much did you have to drink today?" oh the looks I got.
