It's for the LPN Program there and I just got the call today for May 8th. I really didnt want to wait till Sept. Now I just need to get some grants and all that good stuff.
If anyone is going to be there, I will be one of the few MALES in class.
Take Care,
Matt

No, but I start the same day at Tulsa Tech for their LPN program! Is Ponca City's program self-paced? I'm hoping to have mine completed in about 9-10 months, but am doing the evening class which may take a little longer. They allow you 15 months to finish but the average length is about 12.
From what I understand it is self-paced. They market it as 18-24 months but you can complete it in about a year or so. Which I plan to do and then move on to BSN. This program they want you to have 20 hours per week, but you can come into the class from 7:45am to 3:45pm and get your work done, plus clinicals and all that.
Maybe we can share horror stories and clinical triumphs together! :)
And thanks TW!

Yeah, I'm planning to do OU's bridge program which requires you to work a year as LPN before starting. I have all the gen-eds and am working on the sciences. I'm planning to take 1 science each semester (maybe 2 if I take them in short courses) and will be close to having them all completed by the time I finish LPN so I can take a year off from school before starting the bridge. I feel like I've been in school forever and need a break! I'm starting A&P1 online March 13 for 8 weeks, then planning to take Chem 1 this summer, and if I'm not too bombarded with the LPN stuff, hope to take A&P2 and Micro both in the fall as 8 week classes - and that would be it! Yippee! Although I would still need Intro to Soc if I want to have Langston as a backup plan. Haven't decided on it yet.
