Anyone else having a hard time studying over the holidays?

i'm having the hardest time staying focus with thanksgiving here. i tried to study last night but it just was not happening. i have my final nursing exam in 2 weeks followed by hesi so i really need to buckle down. i guess i could give myself today off and try to attempt my normal schedule on friday or saturday. :yawn:

I have no time for ANYTHING school-related this weekend! It's totally stressing me out! I had to go to 2 dinners on Thanksgiving and it was my son's first birthday. My mother in law is here and driving everyone (including my husband) nuts. Today I spent the day cleaning and shopping for the birthday party I'm having here tomorrow. I just sat down like 20 minutes ago and I'm getting up in less than 8 hours. When the party's over tomorrow I'll likely have to clean the whole house again. Sunday I will likely be stuck in traffic driving my mother in law to the airport and when I get home I will want to do nothing but have a drink!! Not to mention yesterday we fed the dogs too many Thanksgiving leftovers and they had diarrhea everywhere while I was out shopping :barf01:

I have my head to toe assessment practicum on tuesday and then my last test and my comprehensive final the next week. Trying not to freak out and take it one day at a time... I cannot wait until this semester's over. I can't remember being this excited for xmas break since I was in grade school.

I'm so glad my kid's birthday won't be on Thanksgiving every year!
