Anyone else applying for University of South Alabama's Accelerated BSN for Fall 2016?

Published

What is your background? Degree, experience, and GPA, etc?

I have been searching and searching for someone else who applied..finally! I have a BS in Environmental Biology and Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Education…GPA 3.85. I am so eager to hear something I've been on pins and needles every time I get an email or phone call! What's your background and everything?

I graduate in May with a BS in Biology. My GPA is only a 3.2, but I have ~3.6 in pre-reqs. I am hoping some of my job experiences help me out!

That's a good pre-req GPA, which I'm sure they take into consideration more! Did you apply for both the traditional and accelerated?

Yes, but I really do not want to go to school for 2 more years! lol

Haha trust me, I understand!! Well let me know if you hear anything from them soon and I'll do the same!

I also applied, but I haven't heard anything yet. I have a degree in health education, but I heard that prereq GPA is the first deciding factor. Has anyone heard anything back yet or gotten any emails?

I think the prereq GPA is probably the most important.

Nope, not yet. I don't like waiting! lol

I think it could take 2-4 more weeks.

Nope no emails or anything yet! I'm guessing very end of the month at the earliest since that's how it was last year. They haven't started going through applications apparently because I emailed their secretary Monday to add something to mine

Have you applied before?

No this is my first time

Oh ok I just saw where you said something about last year. I feel like 2 months isn't enough time to get everything ready if accepted!
