Just curious who else has applied for the Spring 06? I heard there were 298 apps which is better than Fall with 392 (I think).

Woogy

I was accepted into the full time RN at CCSN- it seemed to take forever to get the letter. I am very stressed out already, because I know how hard it is going to be with a 4yr old and a 13 mo old. So if anybody is interested in started a study group at the beginning of the semester let me know. I talked to some of the girls in my micro class that were in their second semester and they said to start at the very beginning studying for the calculations test and to also be prepared to turn in a paper by the third weel. Are you freaking yet????

Sure, I'm getting nervous, I also have 2 young boys (7 & 5). I have a great family support though.

Be careful of those study groups. Even though we are nursing students, there are still those that want a free ride! Give yourself a few days to scope people out.

I am taking lecture at 11, lab on tues @ 2 with Keeley, and clinical on Thus at 12:45 with Keeley. Pharm online. Have you gotten your pharm books yet?

I almost forgot to mention...if you haven't paid for your classes yet, you better do it today! They purge Sunday night.

Lisa,

I got my pharm books a couple of weeks ago and luckily I have paid for classes. I don't think I will have any classes with you. I have lecture with Martin on T/R 11 and lab on T at 8am I decided not to take pharm online. It was a tough one because I took a lot of my pre reqs online(and loved it) but I decided it would be better for me to be able to get out of the house away from kids to learn it. Any ways good luck and we will have to keep in touch. Maybe I'll see you at orientation!!!!

I also have lecture at 11. You put that it is on T/R, do you know that it is T/W? I heard that Pharm online is a much better way to go since you test at home with your book available.

Did you take your CPR yet? I got a call from a Micro student yesterday, who's going into the part-time classes. She was at a Red Cross CPR class! I don't think they accept Red Cross. On the packet we got after acceptance, it is bold and underlined that it must be an American Heart Association course.

Have you done your immunizations? I have to go for my 2nd HepB today. Ouch. Actually, the 1st one wasn't that bad. Already got my tetorifice. I have to go to Fremont Medical today to see if they have my record of MMR from 4 years ago. If not, well, that will be another I have to get (again). I have to schedule my physical. My dh just went "regular" with the post office two days ago, but we just found out that they will not be giving him is insurance packet for about a week. Talk about cutting it close! I hope I can get a policy by the 18th!

Don't forget...we have to be prepared to pay $37 for our drug test this Wednesday. They request that we are there by 7:30. Uggggh. My drive is from near Boulder City. 6:45am departure.

See ya there! (well, maybe!! There will be a lot of people there) If not, I'll meet you on the 18th or in Lecture!
