How's their nursing(RN) program? I read in their website that in the RN program you have to have "B" in all nursing courses inorder to pass. I just think that's extreme. I've never heard of no such thing. Nursing school is hard enough, and I think requiring a "B" from all nursing coures is just beyound me. Even in four year university, a "B" is not required to pass ANY nursing classes. I also saw on VA board of nursing that they are NOT Accredited, which leads me to believe that they're trying to make themselves look good to the board so they can get accredited.

I went to take a look at the school in April.( there is a previous post from me about this school somewhere on here) I was very excited about attending but I was not satisified by the impression that the school gave me. I went to visit the school in April. There were other students in the testing center talking, laughing, and gossiping while I was taking my TEAS test--no one asked them to leave or be quiet--I had to remind them myself that others were still testing. The whole thing with the grades IS a bit extreme and i do not understand that at all. It is a way for them to make money--if you get anything less than a B--you will have to retake the class--and pay for the class all over again. The schools website makes it look better than it really is. Just my opinion. LPN class accepts financial aid but the RN program does not. I have learned to stay away from these "private schools". Plus i want to make sure my credits will transfer when I decide to further my education. Everyone is saying the Comprehensive Health Academy is a good LPN school. They have very good pass rates. My best friend is currently attending and she loves it.

This school is a total rip off. All hospital jobs want you to attend a school that is accredited. Look around there are plenty of nursing schools in the area. I cant believe they want you to pass with a "B". Usually you have to pass with a "C" 78% or better. Skip this school.

What do you all mean by accredited? Accredited by which organization? They are listed under the VA board of Nursing site with provisional approval like alot of other schools and their RN pass rate was pretty high. I have heard good things about Comprehensive as well.
yea, I also went to Comprehensive Health, its pretty tough though. But now I'm looking for an RN program in MD or VA that has a good passing rate. But as far as Global health, and having to pass with a "B" is just beyound me
So what other schools with RN program would you recommend
they are not accredited by the board, only approved which is another one of my concerns. Comprehensive is a "no joke school"
