Anyone applying to Emory Fall 2013

Hi everyone, I know there is a lot of time to apply but I missed the deadline for Fall 2012 and I was just wondering if anyone else is applying. This is a really good website to share information etc.

Do anyone know of Emory has ever accepted someone into their nursing program with a C in a prerequisite ? I don't have a C just wondering !

There was a girl last year who got accepted with a C or two. They really do look at the student holistically.

Ok thanks. I am just curious . I am really anxious to see my finals grades for this semester because I know those grades will have a great impact on the decision of whether I get accepted or not

I'm sure you have nothing to worry about with your grades, especially if your essay was exceptional. :)

I didn't do good on it at all ! I think I made like a 50. But I will retake it in January . I wasn't expecting such a low score

I didn't submit my application yet . I decided to get several people to look over it and critique it and I decided to wait till my final grades are posted next week

Does anyone know if you get a notification when your professor submits your letter of recommendation?

Yes , you do receive a notification once your professors submit your recommendation .

Can you retake the TEAS after applications are in and send the new score?

and are you guys applying to the ABSN only or BSN/MSN ?

I am applying to the traditional BSN only . I hope that they will slow me to retake the teas and submit a new score after my application has been submitted .
