Anyone applying to Delaware County Community College 2013 RN program? Dying to know if my TEAS V score was enough to get me in!!!! I will not find out till closer to Christmas maybe after Christmas!! Any other Applicants want to compare scores and wait together? Also if anyone is DCCC alumni could you let me know your TEAS score and if you were accepted, also if you remember when you received your acceptance letter?
I do want to mention that I had taken my TEAS test once on 9-12-12, and then took the test again 10-24-12(2days before the application deadline) just to see if I could improve my score which I did improve all of my subcategory scores improved some by 50% or more! I wish the Administration looked at that. The first time I took the test my Adjusted Individual Composite Score was 58%.(Which DCCC only requires a AIS Composite of 50%) When I took the test last Wednesday I received a 71.3%!! I really hope that this score is enough to get me in to the program. Considering that this is the only criteria they take into account. First the AIS Composit score then Reading, Science, Mathematics, then English & Language.
From reading the forums here I'm seeing between a 70-74. Good thing is we LPN's are not in competing with everyone else. I was told that last year there were 30 LPN applicants and only 15 seats. I'm thinking in March I'm going to call back to the assessment center and see if they can tell me how many applicants they have thus far. Did you enroll in NURS 102 or take the challenge exam?

To the Lpn's that applied for advance placement, did anyone have to challenge nurs 101 and 102 if your school wasn't NLN accredited? The school I went to wasn't so I would have to complete the challenge exams to receive advance placement. Just wanted to know if it was worth it or to just complete the four semesters.
My school was accredited I took the challenge exam for Nurs 102. It wasn't mandatory but I figured I would try and test out to see if I can credit for it and if not I would take the course. I'm still waiting for my results. Did you take the TEAS exam as of yet?[/quote']Was testing out difficult? What information was covered on the exam?

For the LPN to RN the deadline is April 1, 2013. I'm applying for this program also, I was told that last year they had 30 applicants and only 15 seats. You need your LPN license, H.S and LPN transcript, Teas scores, Clearances, Proof of address and you have either take NUR 102 or test out of it. I was told decision letters would be mailed out late April.
