Anyone applying for Calhoun ADN- fall 09?

That is what I did...I met with the nursing advisor at the beginning of May. I can complete my BSN quicker than waiting on trying to get into an ADN program. Plus, UAH's nursing program is solid, whereas Calhoun, well, not so much right now.

I'm just not sure if I can get in all the classes I need for Spring 10 or if i'll have to wait until Fall 10. I'm going to call tomorrow & see when I can get that adviser appointment & go from there. I figure if I don't get in to Calhoun, I'll have to wait till the next year anyways, so why not go to UAH if I'm gonna have to wait it out.

are u the girl that sits on the farthest front table in the lab? long haired blonde girl? did u get an A in the class? that finals was tough lol....those 2 papers we did helped me a LOT....oh btw, does anyone know when they gonna start sending out letters?

Mid-June is what I was told, Flipgator.

At UAH, they do admits for Fall and Spring. Those are done out of different applicant pools. I can't remember offhand when the dates are that you have to apply by though. My brain needs some coffee!

Some of the nursing students told me yesterday that it's obvious if you got accepted or not. If you didn't, you get a plain white envelope in the mail. If you were accepted, you get a huge manila envelope with a bunch of stuff in it.

Yeah, it's getting close & I think i'm getting ready to have a nervous breakdown. I think one of the girls said it might be next week, but I could have been hearing things.

I also know that the next group of applicants is going to have to taken an entrance exam, so the decision is not all points based.
