Hello!
I am applying this February for the Bellevue College RN program for 2013-2014, I just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there that is applying for that time period as well?!
Where else is everyone applying?! Anyone taken the TEAS yet?

Is our first day Sept. 23rd or the 24th? According to the calendar, it look like we start on the 24th, but I want to be 100% sure. Anyone know?

Tuesday, 24th is our first day. The quarter starts on Monday, the 23rd, but we don't have our first class till Tuesday. I think someone asked that today at the workshop and Lisa confirmed, we do not have school on Monday, but suggested we use the time to read :)

I'm glad I checked back in here because I missed that entirely. I would have shown up Monday morning raring to go! HA! That would have made for a great story...
I really enjoyed that information session. I have more confidence even though there is still so much uncertainty. Plus, its nice to see some familiar faces from last June :)
Ok, thank you! Wow, I am so nervous.
Meeeeeeee tooooooooooo OMG
Are we supposed to wear our uniforms tomorrow?
I thought I read in the module to just wear street clothes with our lab jackets. No open toed shoes. As far as I know the only other things we need to bring are our stethoscopes, watch, pen light, skills sheet (two copies), and a pencil. I think she said textbooks are optional, unless listed as required equipment in the module. Though, I didn't see a list of required equipment for the lab tomorrow. I'm feeling really overwhelmed with everything right now, so I am just hoping I didn't miss something :)
Thanks. I feel totally overwhelmed too! Where is the "skills checklist"? The module says it is on Canvas but I can't find it!
It's on Canvas -100Y - modules - Nursing Assessment 1 - scroll down to the very bottom of the module and it's under "Skills List:" document is "CNA Skills". It took me a while to find it too. And I am not even positive we need it tomorrow, but I think so :)

Hello again everyone! I have a question for those of you already in the program. I start in January. I'm getting my CNA license right now and need to purchase scrubs for my clinicals. They told us we could purchase any color. I would like to avoid buying ones I can't use during Bellevues program therefore what color and or any info on scrubs for Bellevues program would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :) - Whitney
Wine is the color. And there is a particular pant and shirt style that they have chosen. I'd have to look up the style number, but if you go to Acorn in Bellevue, they will know which one. Hope that helps! And good thinking! I did my CNA at BC and they made you use a different color, it was like a teal color.

Question to those of you already in the program... Did you get the ebooks along with your books or did you do only real books? For those of you who got the ebooks, do you use them more than the regular books? Which is better to have just ebooks? Any information is helpful!
