  1. I also used TEAS V5 the booklet from ATI. I also had a number of other prep manuals because I took the HESI before the TEAS but I focused mostly on the TEAS book for this test because of time constraints. I felt as though the math was the easiest. Keep in mind I took calculus I&II during my Biology degree at Central... either way if you're doing well on the math practice tests focus on other areas that are more difficult, anything to do with English, grammar and vocab is typically the hardest for me. The science was random but I've seen it so much that I didn't think it was hard. Go through the book as many times as you can and then go back and look at the areas that were the most difficult a few more times.
  2. Congratulations!! That's awesome!! You will for sure be accepted when you apply next!!!
  3. Hello again everyone! I have a question for those of you already in the program. I start in January. I'm getting my CNA license right now and need to purchase scrubs for my clinicals. They told us we could purchase any color. I would like to avoid buying ones I can't use during Bellevues program therefore what color and or any info on scrubs for Bellevues program would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :) - Whitney
  4. Awesome, thanks for the tip!
  5. YAY!! I'm so happy to hear you did so well!! That's great! I bet you will do better the second time probably less stressed! When would the part time program begin? Best of luck next week!
  6. Thank you for all the info this is very helpful and very much appreciated!
  7. I know specifically because I applied to their program for Fall that Everett CC has classes directly on their campus for the UW Bothell RN-BSN program. You take the classes a few days a week at Everett and get your BSN from UW. A BSN from UW would be great regardless of where you take the courses it's still a BSN from an incredible nursing school. Check each individual school's website and see which ones work with UW Bothell. I know Bellevue does I just don't know if you can take courses at Bellevue during RN-BSN or if they just have some sort of articulation agreement. I don't know about Shoreline but maybe they do as well.
  8. I don't mind at all. I got an 80% on the TEAS. I thought I had prepared enough so I didn't take it twice. I found out afterwards that a lot of people at Bellevue take it twice and aim for scores between 86-89%. I didn't give myself enough time to take it twice, the deadline was the next day, so I was stuck with this score. I had an A in English, Bs in Mirco and Chem, B+ in both A&P courses, an A in Lifespan Psych and a C+ in Stats. I was number 22 on the wait list for Winter Quarter. I will be honest and say that with only an 80% on the TEAS I did not expect to be wait listed. The lady at the testing center basically told me in a nice way that I wouldn't get wait listed because my score was too low. I was 22 on the wait list for Winter Quarter so I also did not expect to be bumped up into acceptance. I don't know what my calculated GPA is, you could figure it out using my grades if you wanted. If I can give you some advice don't stress about your GPA if you're applying to Bellevue. At the nursing info session I was told they rank candidates based on TEAS score and then if there is a tie they look at your GPA. Considering the national average on the TEAS right now is a 64.5% I was happy and also mad at the 80% ha. I own probably 5 nursing entrance test prep books. I have a degree in Biology from Central so I also own a ton of other science and A&P study materials. I've been trying to sell them on Amazon but I've only had one sell. If you're looking for study material feel free to email me I may have a few I can just send you for free just to get rid of. If you haven't already take the TEAS a few months before the deadline and then retake it if you're worried about your score but don't do what I did and stress for a year about getting in, YOU WILL!!!
  9. I also have a spot for Winter!! Did you decide yet whether or not you're going to attend Seattle Central or Bellevue? - Whitney
  10. I just got an acceptance call this morning for Winter quarter! Lost my mind with emotions and happiness! I look forward to meeting you Leah!
  11. Hello!! Anyone else get accepted to Bellevue College's program for Winter of 2014? I just found out today!! - Whitney
