I think we'll get our schedules at orientation.

If you already have a BANNER ID & password, you can look at the Spring 2011 schedules online. You can tell which ones are the accelerated classes.

We'll start with NUR 2302 - Pharmacology, NUR 2501 - Assessment for Health Alterations, and NUR 2310 - Introduction to Professional Nursing I.

hi all,

I also am attending wssu in spring 2011 nursing program. I lived in charlotte and I am planning on moving to WS. Does anyone from that area on suggestions of apartments and which area to avoid.

Also i wanted to know how long will take to recieve funding.

Hello everyone...I am also attending the accelerated option at WSSU in Jan 2011. I had my interview for funding on the 13th of october. I havent heard anything yet and im getting worried. Has anyone received any correspondence from baptist yet?

I haven't heard regarding the scholarship! I'm anxiously awaiting a response. I thought she said we would know before Thanksiving.

Congratulations everyone on making it into the Acclerated Nursing Program!! I'll be joining you guys in January, hopefully with funding as well. I haven't heard anything so far, but I've got my fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!

I talked to Dianna McCann today, and she said that the school sent her 6 applicants at the last minute. Since she wanted to give everyone a fair chance, she is going to interview them and then submitt the results to the committe for review. She wasn't sure of a date but it may be after Thanksgiving before she can notify us. She apologized for the process taking long but assured me that we would hear either way if we get the scholarship or not. Thought I'd share so we can all relax a bit for the Holidays.
