Anyone applying to ABSN at WSSU for Jan 2011

I'm applying to the ABSN program at WSSU this August to start in January 2011. Anyone joining me?

I plan to apply to WSSU's ABSN Program in August also. Hopefully, they'll select me as one of their students, I have faith that they will!!!

Awesome! Have you finished all of your prerequisites? I just have A&P II to take. I'm planning on registering for the 2nd summer session at WSSU on 6/22. I took Human Anatomy awhile back in college & WSSU is counting that as my A&P I. I've been reading & studying the chapters from the book that the A&P I students are doing to brush up on my knowledge.

I want to apply for WSSU ABSN also. I will be starting pre reqs in the fall and if all goes well I will apply for Jan 2012. If I am able to take classes according to my plan I may have to take A&P during the summer at WSSU so let me know how it goes. Best of luck to you!

I have all the prerequisites, I decided to retake two of them though just to be competitive!

Does anyone have any idea about the interview process or how they select who will be selcted?

I believe WSSU will calculate your science GPA and your overall GPA for admittance. The scholarship thru Wake Forest Baptist Hospital is a separate application & interview.

I don't think so. I think it's strictly grades. You should make an appt with WSSU to talk to the accelerated program advisor. Have you done that yet? She'll want to go over your transcripts then. You can just take your unofficial copies.
