Anyone apply for LVN-RN summer enrty at LA County College of Nursing?

Hi,

I sent my application off a few weeks ago for the LVN-RN bridge at LA County College of nursing. I have not even taken the TEAS test yet, and I am already anxious about having to wait to find out if I get accepted.

If I pass the TEAS with 75% or above I will have 85 points. Has anyone else applied for the 2012 summer entry?

Last year there were some internal memos sent to employees of the County indicating that they were considering to not taking students at all for a particular semester due to budget restrictions and the fact that they themselves acknowledged that they wouldn't be able to hire any of the graduates. I never saw this memo since I was only a temp nurse so I can't verify it's accuracy but also long as the site says they are taking applications then I would assume that they are.

I don't think I'm fit enough for the county program they really have those guys hustle

Every night I log on here hoping to see if anyone has heard anything yet... I'm going crazy waiting to see if I got in, I'm nauseous! Good luck all!

Gladiola- I check this site everyday too. Hopefully they will start letting people know in the next week or two. I am so tempted to call them and ask what the point cut off is, but I won't. I'm sure they are busy and don't want to add to it. I will let everyone know when I hear anything. Good luck!
