Anyone apply to Bristol COmmunity College nursing for 2013?

I am an applicant for the fall 2013, is anyone else waiting to hear?

I think I read that in another thread in this forum from maybe last year or the year before. It had maybe 150 comments or so. I don't know if it is confirmed, but someone said that the staff learned that students were checking DW like crazy and some finding out before letters were sent and that they were going to fix that glitch. When was everyones last audit? I had one on 3/12 and again on 3/19 but I also web registered for 2 summer classes on the 18th and 19th. Yes, it is my first time applying.

It seems like letters are going out later than they did last year...wonder why. Or maybe some folks have already gotten theirs and it's just that non of us have! lol

omg im gonna be checkin my mail like a madwoman lol. i also heard it shows up on your unofficial transcript too before the letters. i work for the culinary dept and if their dept is anything like mine, we go thru batches of files n send out admit letters in huge quantities so hopefully we will hear soon.

i feel like they send em out later every year.. last yr n the yr before i think they had their letters by now. Has anyone considered doing the cna course if they dont get in? Does anyone know when thqt deadline is? I wanna have a backup plan so i dont spend a yr twiddling my thumbs ya kno lol

I have been considering a backup cna course but I really havent looked at options.

i was gonna take my cna exam after the first semester anyways, so i figured if i didnt get in id take the cna course, work as one while waiting to finish nursing school, and that way have med experience before i graduate

Same here... we all work so hard getting our pre-reqs done.. After this semester, I have all my pre-reqs complete!! woo hoo.. seems like eternity.. How is everyone standing as far as GPA concerns... I only have a 17/30 on the point system and a 3.7 total GPA.. I wonder how many people have next to perfect scores... I would love to have feedback from current students and their entry scores and GPA's to see the variations.

Yeah...mine was 3/12 but then 3/19. But, on the 18th & 19th I web registered for two classes.....so who knows, maybe that is why.
