Just wondering if anyone has applied to Umass Boston and Umass Medical (in Worcester), Simmons and MGH for 2009 direct entry and BSN @ UMB? I am a little confused on what is taking them so so long to get back to me. My undergrad GPA is 3.2, got a 3.85 in all the prerequisites, decent GRE scores...I got in last year at UMass Medical, they called me a week before the program started (I guess I was wait listed), but I couldn't attend since not all my prerequisites were completed. I just called Umass Med. and they told me they already picked the 25 students and I wasn't one of them. It would be nice if they send a notice once in a while, but nothing. Anyone please heard anything, I'm desperate, I hope I got in at least one school, not picky at this point, just desperate
I just received an e-mail inviting me to the open house for admitted students, as well as notification to expect a letter in the mail. I'm over by the MSPCA. Where are you?
Oh honey. Give it some time, maybe they're sending out several e-mail blasts or this really is a cruel joke on all of us. Where else did you apply? Also, you do know that Regis has rolling admissions and they're not yet completely enrolled!
I applied to UMB for the BSN accelerated, Simmons, Umass med(which already rejected me and accepted me last year weird), and MGH. I am so discouraged right now, I took all the prereqs, I have a good GPA, no clue where I went wrong :-( They probably don't see the future NP in me, that's all...
I applyed to Simmons, NEU, MGH, Regis, Curry, and UMB. I was fully prepared to follow an undergrad path, and then try to apply to a MSN/DNP program after 5 years of experience. Part of me still wonders if that is the proper path? Getting your BSN would be pretty awesome! Don't get discouraged, this is just one school.
I just talked to some Brett guy over in admissions and he pretty much told me the letters were sent out yesterday (hard copies). I live near Worcester,MA, so I highly doubt I will get anything today. Did you get a letter and an e-mail as well? May I ask how close to Boston u guys are? I really wanted to get into MGH...

I have 2 more rejections letters to go !!!
I'm in Wellesley (about 12 miles outside of the city) and got my letter today. I was surprised since mail services at the college tends to lag behind. Then I got the email right before noon.
Gotcha, clarifies my doubt of NOT OPENING MY REJECTION LETTER when it arrives in the mail. I live in Shrewsbury,MA, about 28 miles from the city(if I'm correct). MGH was my top choice, really really wanted to get in...Do u mind if I ask if the e-mail was sent from admissions?
