Anyone applied to UF's accelerated BSN?

I applied to UF's accelerated BSN program for Summer 2009. The application deadline passed 2 weeks ago, and I am anxiously awaiting a reply. I hate waiting! If anyone has been through the program, I was wondering if you remembered when you found out if you got in or not. Is anyone out there also waiting to find out if you got into the program?

Oh gosh! I am still at my parent's house in South Florida. I'll be heading home today. I am so nervous now! I hope I got in! Congrats to all those who got into the program!

Yeah! I got my letter today too, I got in! Does anyone know exactly how much tuition is? They gave an estimate of total cost of attendence, but didn't mention tuition separately.

I've got my fingers crossed for you frogger,I'd also like to meet up with classmates. I'd be down for some sort of meet and greet dinner if anyone is interested!

Marge or anyone else who might be interested, I would definitely like to meet up for dinner, coffee, or something before orientation. I don't live in Gainesville (yet!) but I know I need to make a few trips down (I live in Tallahassee) before I move.

Hi erin, I am out of town now but I do live in Gainesvlle. Let me know when you come to town, and I would love to meet up, hopefully we can get some others to join us. I grew up in Gainesville and did my undergrad at UF, so If you have any questions about making the move I might be able to help...let me know.

Frogger: did you get word from UF, I was sure you would get in because we had basically the same stats. If you didn't, I think there is a way to petition. I haven't actually talked to anyone about it, but I have seen the petition forms online. anyways I hope you did get in, I was looking forward to meeting you.

Hello, Ladies, and CONGRATULATIONS!! Unfortunately, I did not get in, despite making alternate last year. I do plan to petition, but at least I am currently in an ASN program. Glad I applied to that one "just in case." Darn. I'm a UF alumnus, and I really wanted to be a Gator Nurse. Best of luck to you....

By the way...I can't seem to locate the petition forms online. Marge, you mentioned that you had seen them. Would you mind telling me where they are? The deadline is this Monday, 3/16.

that ridiculously long url is where I found them. i am not sure if that is where you are supposed to get them, but I just googled UF accelerated nursing petition and it takes you right to them. It is a long kind of instruction and the form for the generic BSN then the accelerated. Good Luck, I am so sorry you did not get in, such a bummer
