I have been in school 5 yrs 10m now... take your time & learn well. Getting through quickly is not any indicator of success! We all learn at a different pace & have a lot of challenges and obsticals to get through!
I start BSN school this fall. And I am 40yrs old. I lost both my parents, my gradparents, my hubby has had numerous medical problems (& we have had marriage issues), I personally have had 3 surgeries, my daughter had unmanaged asthma & we moved to another state.

You say you had to repeat Chem twice. Well don't give up, it shows you know what you want and you haven't given up yet. Chem is a toughy, I absolutely struggles in it as well, like many people I am sure.
Take it until you learn it and get through it. Always stay positive and things will pay off at the end.
Good luck :)
