Anyone accepted to Roxborough Memorial SON?

Hello, I recently found out that I was accepted for August 1 start. :heartbeat Is there anyone else out there? I think I am 95% sure that i will be attending but this is the only school I heard back from so far. Just wanted to talk with some of you to piece some of the info together! :lol2:

No i didnt get the book list yet either, did anyone get the insurance yet? NSO has it or $36 a year but i fig ill purchase that in july

Did anybody get this insurance? Or is regular insurance better?

Hey everyone! I just heard about this group from a friend. I enjoyed reading everyone's comments so far! I am really excited to meet you all at orientation this Wednesday :)

By the way, I spoke to the woman at the uniform shop... she said the lab coats are going to be embroidered with our names this year! We won't need name pins.

I did not get the insurance. When i spoke with Patti and clarify which one she wanted. I realized that we didn't need it. We only need personal health insurance but the Student Nurse insurance isn't a bad thing to have.

Hi Jkess, Congrats on your acceptance! Yup no name pins. I've actually already been to the uniform shop. FYI, the shirts are horrid lol They are very thick and I can just imagine being extremely hot :cool: The people at the uniform store, especially the woman I forget ger name, are really nice and helpful.

Just a quick question: When you went to the uniform store, did you pick up your clothing/accessories that same day? Or do you need to try it on for size, order, then go back again to pick it up?

Yes you need to try it on they order and you come back to pick up. You can pick up your equipment right away the sthethoscope and shoes if you chose to get them there.
