has anybody out there worked as a nurse in africa? i have african friends and would like to work in africa because i'm interested.

As I mentioned in one of your other posts, you are going to need your RN for most of the non-profit agencies, along with two years of experience, as well. The RN is also needed to meet visa requirements so that you can get documents that will permit you to work.

The only way around that is if you go with a volunteer surgical group, but then you will need to be either a surgical scrub tech or an RN.
