Thanks! Overall its 3.2 and science is 3.5 i didnt think it was all that great BUT the counselor mentioned that it looks very good (emphasis on very lol) so good luck with your app and make sure you do everything before the deadlines early as possible because they do stamp all papers with time and date...i dont know if that means anything but you never know.
Good luck! I re-applied to Moorpark this semester (I had originally applied in the Spring of 2009 and would have started this semester but I didn't take the TEAS V by the specified date so they withdrew my application. I did really well on the TEAS 4.0 but didn't keep track of when to take the TEAS V so it was my fault) but I'll actually be starting at CSUCI this Fall. I hope you hear back soon!
Wow congrats on getting accepted to CSUCI i was rejected that was my #1 choice ( i wanted that BSN!!!) but im waiting to her back from them any day now *nail biting everyday* lol im happy with and ADN first but didnt want to do that extra time waiting to get into a BSN program after having my RN BUT looks like im gonna have to haha. Oh well congrats and focus focus focus ive heard it was no joke!
Thank you! It was a complete surprise because they actually denied me at first but apparently some people declined admission because they got into other nursing programs so that opened a spot for me. I applied back in 2010 and was denied so it definitely wasn't the first try for me. My GPA wasn't the best so I had to do well in everything else to be competitive, your pre-req GPA is better than mine! Moorpark is a good program and you can still go the RN-BSN route when your done! You also will have summers off unlike me haha. Once again, best of luck to you!
They award the max points for scores of 80 and above for english and reading and 70 or higher for math and don't count the science so I think you did pretty good on the test. It is just tough because so many people apply to that school every year, I think what made me competitive was my work experience, bachelor's degree in Spanish, TEAS test score, and Ventura county resident. I hope that you hear some good news soon as well! Just stay positive!
wow bachelors in spanish! wow i was thinking of taking some spanish classes if i do not get accepted to boost myself up i need at least 2 semesters...but i did pretty good on my math and science eng/reading were decent 76% its cool though im going to re-apply if i do not get into VC or MC. But thanks for the encouraging words
