ANybody recieved interviews for CSULB spring 2011?

Hi, I was told by an acquaintance that interview invitations for spring 2011 BSN will handed out by september 20th.

THis does seem kind of early, but I haven't heard back from CSULB at all and so I was wondering when the interviews are. The CSULB lady has been very busy and hasn't gotten back to me.

Does anybody know if interview invitations have already been handed out for fall 2010 admissions?

Interview tomorrow at 2:00pm! Are any of you male's by any chance? I feel dominated haha.

so i just finished my interview today. it actually wasn't as bad as i thought and i think i was less nervous because there were other people with me. i know i could've answered the discussion questions better but i'm hoping it all turned out alright.

i feel like i failed it! like it wasn't hard but my paper sucked and i feel like i sounded like an idiot :[ i'm so nervous, i don't want to be one of the 10 people who don't get in :[

ONLY 10 people won't get in?! where did you hear that from?

how many students were interviewed in total? Someone stated 102? with 90 seats available? so 12 students are placed on the alternate list if they're not accepted?

so we as interviewers have a 88% getting in?

I finished my interview today as well!!! I feel like I could have done so much better too. My heart was beating so hard. haha I was so nervous!

someone said that the top 90 are already chosen by grades??? and the interview was just to make sure we understand english? Is that true?

i've heard so many different things about whether or not the interview makes a difference. however, the interview is not that scary! just relax and have fun :] one of the interviewers in my interview confirmed that there were only 100 interviewees, so yeah that means only 10 won't get in; that being said, they will be alternates and from what i've heard alternates have a great chance of getting in :]

Well, ofcourse the interview makes a difference. I've heard they started the interview process cause they were letting in foreign students who can maintain high grades, but their communication skills were below average. Lets say the 90 that are chosen are pre-selected. But during the interview, the faculty members look for communication skills which is crucial in the nursing field. And knowing some foreign students do achieve high score, this is obsolete if they can't manage to give directions in a clear way (accents). So most likely this student will be dropped and replaced with an qualifying alternate.

And don't think I'm being stereotypical, I'm and asian american decent and even with 'asian ears' i have a hard time comprehending some words they're trying to say.

I see what you are saying. I hope everything works out for all of us!! I know I passed the interview... I only know english lol. It all comes down to grades! :-/

This is gonna be the longest three weeks ever! Lol
