Anybody else taken NCLEX-RN in CA?

Took my test on a Thursday and knew that I could check the California BRN site for license verification before anything would reach me before mail.

My friend who also took it on Thursday knew by Tuesday morning (3 update cycles).

I freaked out when I didn't see my name Tues AM, but gained hope again when I realized that Monday was a holiday the BRN celebrated, thus no Monday night update.

i took nclex under Ca board of nursing and after 2days saw my name on their website and the license came in the mail after one week,there is no specific time for the release of the result,everything depends on the processing.

If you do not have a SSN#, you will be waiting one month to get the results by snail mail. You will not see a license posted until you submit the SSN#. You have up to three years to do that.

I took my exam in CA on March 1 and it was posted to the website on March 3. I didn't see it until this morning though, it wasn't there last night. Most of my friends have been 3-4 business days, but for some of my classmates it was up to 2 weeks because of transcripts not being there yet.

I took my nclex on 2/21 and I don't know the results... I do know that our transcripts weren't sent out 'til 2/16... does it also matter where you take your test.. I'm from los angeles county but I took my test at santa maria which is santa barbara county... as far as I know 2 classmates that took it 1 week and 2 weeks before I did don't have the results yet.. so I'm hoping it's just the transcripts that's holding them up... I still want to keep a positive attitude that I did pass... but if I don't... wait for my pm suzanne.. coz I will be needing your help....

It takes on average about two weeks for them to get your transcripts processed, and until then, they will not post your license on the BRN website. You get a license issued only when your file is complete and you have passed the NCLEX exam, if it is not complete, then the number is not issued.
