Are there any applicants to UNC Chapel Hill's BSN program for January 2008 admittance?
I still have not recieved any notifications for thier admissions decision and I was curious if any other applicants have received word? Or if they have any information on when we might expect to hear something?
Thanks!

Hi. I applied for January 2009 admission. My notification letter was postmarked October 23rd, and I received it on the 24th. I do live in Chapel Hill though.
Thanks for the response 'Ims1185'. Much appreciated.
Now I am really anxious.
Silly question here but I have to ask: When you log into your application home page and click 'online application' or 'check missing item', it actually states the most recent date and time that someone from UNC viewed your application. If possible, do you mind sharing that information please?
I am curious, b/c it might give me some idea on when I can expect to receive my letter, as my application was last accessed by them on the 23rd. They probably have nothing to do one another, but who knows. I think I am just looking to relieve this anxiety:nuke:
Hey. I had no idea about that. I just checked, and it says my application was last viewed on October 21st at 7:53pm. My notification letter was dated October 21st too.
Thanks for the info.
May I ask whether or not you were accepted? I am assuming you were, since you were notified rather early.
Also curious if your last name falls in the first 1/2 of the alphetbet? As I was told by someone that UNC first notifies accepeted applicants in alphabetical order. Then they send out letters to ones that did not get accepted. Who knows? Anyway, appreciate your responce.
I was accepted, and my last name begins with the letter S. I wasn't expecting a response so soon, so I freaked out when I saw a letter from the nursing school in my mailbox. Then I opened it up and screamed.
I don't know if this will help, but here is some more info:
With the admissions notification letter came a reply letter that must be returned to the nursing school's admissions office by October 30th. They probably wait to see how many offers of admission are actually accepted before they send out rejection letters and waitlist offers.

Yes, that helps very much, appreciate your response. Thanks!

I got an acceptance letter on Friday.
I just checked my admissions page, and my "check status" link doesn't work anymore. It did last week.
My last name starts with H.

Kodfish and maddiegirl85 Congrats on your acceptances!!!! I have a couple questions which programs did you apply to, and when was the last time that UNC accessed your homepage? Also, were all you pre-requisites completed when you applied?
Also when you checked your status on your homepage did it state that you were accepted???

Did everyone here apply to the ABSN program or the 24 month?
