Any tips for roman numerals and divison for TEAS?

Published

I need pointers for long division without a calculator for decimals and large numbers. Thx

instead of actually doing the division, you can try to get one of the multiple choices that are given and multiply that with the divisor, and compare that with the dividend (30 ÷ 5 = 6, "30" is the dividend, and "5" is the divisor).

it's hard to show you how to do the division on here, but here is a youtube video that i think does a good job at explaining: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0uuk7sqca8

you will need to memorize the roman numeral mdclxvi (1000,500,100,50,10,5,1). there are some rules to it, so check your teas book. i had one problem on the teas test that asked me to translate it.

Thank you soon much.
