I'm more interested in very real problems these students will face upon graduation as they enter the workforce as RN's--such as safe staffing, horizontal violence (already have 2 excellent web sites), the proposed national fund for out-of-work RN's (already have URL), etc. Any IDEAS you have would be most appreciated, as MANY heads are better than one! :)
When I used to teach ADN students, I loved to have them explore the lesser-known nursing specialties. Here are some links from an Occupational Health Nurse's perspective that might be a bit unusual, but I think you'll find some interesting reading on them. Some deal with specific "nurse" safety issues, some are more "patient" safety focused, others "employee" focused. Not typical of what a nursing educator thinks about, but enjoy!

On the website for my ADN students I have a folder called "Workplace Concerns." I have already put several links there, but would like more. Suggestions would be most appreciated:cool:
