Any suggestions On Nsg Health Safety Exam

Hello I am new to this forum and I have really enjoyed reading everyones suggestions and help. I have been a L.P.N. for 22yrs and tried some of the Excelsior exams years ago and needless to say did not do well. I am going to try again and need all the advise I can get. I will be taking the Concepts 104 Essentials of Nursing Care Health Safety first and if anyone that has taken it can give me advise on content to study for I would very much appreciate the information. When I studied before I think I went to broad and was over welmed. I am going to do this for me this time and I look forward to meeting a lot of new friends on the way. Thanks again:nurse:

Yeah dats what I was told which is crazy to me but since I will have more days off next month I hope to get them done before the test date n read da rationales over n over....

That sounds like a plan.. I think Ill set the date for the end of June and then July. Im going to get one of the NCLEX books everyones talking about. Maybe it will help me?

I agree...Do you know where to get the Medical Surg book they are talking about downloading? I have seen a couple of posts where they are talking about having it on thier computers?

I have also just enrolled in EC and could really use some study buddies, support, etc.......... I took health safety last month and am taking chronicity tomorrow. I would love to be done with the program by the end of the year but realistically it will probably be the beginning of next year. I live in Tennessee (Knoxville area) but it would be great to have some friends to study with, vent to, etc.... Best of luck to both of you and we should all keep in touch!!

You have come to a good place for friends :-)

There is a group of us who all started around the same time and now we are all finishing up together and have seen each other through our good times and our tough times on the board. It really is great to have people who understand what you are going through.
