Any suggestions On Nsg Health Safety Exam

Hello I am new to this forum and I have really enjoyed reading everyones suggestions and help. I have been a L.P.N. for 22yrs and tried some of the Excelsior exams years ago and needless to say did not do well. I am going to try again and need all the advise I can get. I will be taking the Concepts 104 Essentials of Nursing Care Health Safety first and if anyone that has taken it can give me advise on content to study for I would very much appreciate the information. When I studied before I think I went to broad and was over welmed. I am going to do this for me this time and I look forward to meeting a lot of new friends on the way. Thanks again:nurse:

Hey I haven't taken this exam yet but I've heard that lisa arends and studygroup 101 was good for this exam along with excelsior practice exams that cost $65.00

Thank you. Just decided to commit and I want to be able to do it this time with out feeling like a failure. Some have said that the lisa arends are complicated and a lot of information ? Have you seen them?

I have purchased her cd for health safety and its a lot of info...I've decided to take transitions first and Ive read where some people have passed this test using studygroup 101 and ec exams only.

Go to the EC website and print out the content guide for the exam, they tell you all the areas you need to study. Health Safety is pretty much very basic fundamentals of nursing :-)

Thanks to everyone for your advise I know I'm going to need a lot of help and encouragement to get through this but I refuse to give up my dream!! I dont have thousands of dollars to invest in Dis Learning Center so I guess I'll just have to ask lots of questions on here..Thank you all for any help along the way.
