Any spring 2014 applicants?

The wait is beyond killing me...I applied to a BSN program June 1st for next spring...the deadline was sept 1st, but they don't start "looking" until 6 weeks after...so pretty much the middle of October is when I'll know. Anyone else out there waiting or about to apply?

Specializes in Med/Surg, PP/Newborn.

I petitioned/applied for the 2nd time to an associate degree program, on Sept. 20th, got my letter today. I'm ACCEPTED! best of luck to everyone else anxiously waiting!

Congrats everyone!

I had a missed call and voicemail from an admissions office yesterday..My heart skipped a beat. Turns out they were only calling to tell me that my application fee had been waved. Even though I knew deep down they wouldn't call to tell me their decision it was a let down haha.

Haha! Aww, I experienced a similar situation. About 3 weeks ago I received a letter from my school I applied to & it was addressed from admissions...my heart was pounding, then I opened it & it said "CONGRATULATIONS!!" My heart stopped.....then I read on..."you're scholarship will continue on through spring semester 2014". Lol even though I knew I wouldn't hear back this soon, it still made me anxious! All of our apps were due by the end of September. They didn't say when we would hear, but I'm assuming the end of this month, beginning of November. I have looked up some old threads on here about my school and people found out end of October, so hopefully I only have a couple of weeks left. The waiting is the worst part!

^^completely agree! I've been waiting since June 1st & just knowing I find out next week, it makes it so much worse because I have to get through every day! Lol

Check your e-mail inbox also. My BSN program sent my acceptance letter that way.

They actually told me I'd get an email notification also so trust me...I check it like 5 times a day lol

Congrats Mandy! Must be excited to start!

I got alternate listed at the community college I applied for. Hoping that the status changes in the coming months as the local university sends out their acceptance letters, and the students that applied to both the CC and local uni choose to go to the uni instead of the CC. That'll give me a chance to gain acceptance to the CC, which is my first choice :D
