Any SPC/PHCC Fall 2011 Hopefuls?

Hey everyone! Wanted to see if there was anyone out there who is applying to St. Petersburg College and/or PHCC (Pasco-Hernando Community College) this fall-2011?

Nekaw a 92% !! that is an awesome score and with your GPA you are so in..how did you score nationally?? and program %?? I think you have nothing to worry about♥♥

Thank you... im still very anxious though... national and program percentile were both 99... I really wasn't expecting to get that high of a score... my 1st attempt i got a 76 overall which is average but def not good enough to get in... my advice is go through the ATI study as much as possible... everything is similar except the science... honestly i think its completely different on the test than on the study guide but it does help in a general way so make sure you study that... the McGraw Hill study guide to me was worthless... good luck...

Nekaw- great job on the test score! Admissions is a tricky thing. It's all dependent on each semesters applicant pool and the three factors going into it (GPA, TEAS, and county residence). I got into the program as well almost a year ago and have loved it. Prepare to work your tail off though. Any questions, just ask. Chris...good to see you again! Hope you're enjoying your summer!

Even after being in the program for 1 semester, my friends and I still joke we still have no more idea about the intricacies and hoopla that is PHCCs admission process. But its a ton of fun, I've made some great friends and besides tge program having a general air of discombobulation, it really is good.

I'm going into my last semester in the RN at PHCC!! So excited.. it has been interesting so far... i'm sure you all will do great! You definitely have to do really good on the entry test to get in. The admin process is mainly to check your critical thinking abilities.. .anyone can pass a class but not everyone can pass a nursing test .. almost all my tests were scenerios w/ critical thinking. Never cut and dry ?'s and answers. Good luck!!
