Any SC participants out there?

Nurses Recovery

Published

Nearing the end of my monitoring in SC and was wondering what to expect? My caseworker hasn't mentioned anything and my end date is in 29 days? Do I need to ask my caseworker about it or just let it ride?? Should I expect increased testing for the last month. I currently am tested on an average of 2x mth. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ?

I have no experience with SC, but would like to congratulate you on your completion of the program! I have not even started mine yet, and am anxious to get it going, so I can get it over with!

?.......I'm so sorry! I wish you the best, you can do it! Thank you so much!!

I’m in SC also. Are you contracted with SCRPP? I’m in my last few months and participate in senior monitoring.

I was with SCRPP, I completed my program on 7/24.

Congrats on finishing!!!! If yours was like mine, it was not an easy journey. Not because of a desire to do something I shouldn’t, but because of the mental, financial and emotional toll. Always worrying about checking in, getting to a testing site, meetings and balancing working....I’ll be so glad in 90 days.

Last year I was accused of taking narcotics. My job only tested me the swab test was negative. The program assessed me and said I have a mild substance abuse with alcohol. I am in their senior monitoring program. Do you know if they test for an ETG or alcohol in every test. Since this is a recovery program, I am assuming this is what they do automatically with every test.

My assumption is they test for alcohol with every test, but especially if alcohol was a DOC, I’d expect it.

Good evening, I am in SC and am only in the beginning of my contract. I wonder everyday how I am going to make it 5 years. I am not struggling with not using but the stress of this program is ridiculous.
