Hi all..
Just asking...are there any other PN/LPN students here? Either currently attending or soon to attend...or even those who "want" to attend??....
Thanks!!!!!!!!!! (((((((((((((( HUGS )))))))))))
LPN student here-- getting ready to be pinned on 8/17 then one week off and on to the RN program. We're a laddered school so we can either stop at LPN or go on if we can test in. We have class this week and next -- just a total of 4 days (Mon & Tues are clinicals), and we're looking at a total of 9 final exams and 2 quizzes!!! I cannot even think past that to state boards. I keep reminding myself many, many, many have done it before me and I can do the same. Whew -- what a hectic schedule. Breathe, breathe, breathe...

congrats on your success! i am starting the program on aug 23. it takes 11 months here in daytona.
Hi everyone! I start LPN school in two weeks!!! I'm quitting my full time job of 14 years as an at home medical transcriptionist tomorrow! I planned to work part time up until about a week ago but decided to just quit and devote 100% of myself to school 24/7, especially after reading the posts on here about how hard school is. At 39 I just hope I still have enough brain cells left to pass! If I survive, I'm hoping to get into a LPN to RN bridge but I'm a firm believer in "baby steps". Good luck to everyone else who is starting (or finishing up) this semester!
congrats justlynn2u! so far school has been great. i have been going to school since jan. 2006 and i am lovin every minute of it. i am a 29 year old mother of two with a husband, a dad to care for, and a fulltime job. i too am one that wants to bridge over to an rn program when i am done with lpn. baby steps are a must for me! lol
i am gonna go part-time @ work when i start clinical which should be i
jan. 2007. if there is anything that i can help you with let me know.
