I looked into providing weekend coverage for a residential facility. Needs were for call 5pm Friday-Midnight Sunday, and for 3-5 hours of rounds (in-person; this was pre-covid) on both Saturday and Sunday with some flexibility in schedule so long as they were done. With option for PRN coverage of sick days / vacations for their regular providers if desired.
Ultimately I realized that I had enough going on already in life that I didn't feel comfortable making the additional commitment and declined, but these sorts of jobs are definitely out there. I know the company this was with had a number of locations and was usually looking for weekend coverage for at least one of them every 6-12 months or so.

There is a big need for PMHNPs who can perform this service for vets. You can set your own hours and it is very flexible.
Is this via telehealth?

Hi,
I am a PMHNP that works in child and adolescent psychiatry. I have a full-time job, but I'm curious if there are jobs out there (prefer telehealth) to work PRN for extra money. I'm having a hard time finding something specifically for weekends PRN when I search the internet so thought I'd ask here. Thank you in advance!!
