I am wishing to connect with fellow Nigerian nurses in Houston Texas. There are many out there that are having a difficult time with culture shock, and merging into the educational and practice systems; we also can band together and help our community and society in our own little way. Contact me at [email protected]. Lets form a front.

I work with a lot of Yorubas and a few Igbos. You'll have no problem finding them!

Yes oooo My dear. I know we have multitudes of naijas in Htown. D perplexing thing is that we are soooo scattered, no avenue for us to gather and futher the 'betterment' of our peers, and even our communities back home. Its as great as our numbers are, just imagine if we all came together (leaving out ego) what a solid forum that will be. CAN U JOIN ME LETS SEE WHAT WE CAN GET STARTED????
Thanks dear. Am already a nurse. Could you direct those my nigerian siblings to this site so they can join......just wanting us to come together.
Thanks for ur insight.
There are a lot of organizations in Houston (and a lot of nigerians tend to reside on the Southwest side of town). There is Igbo, yoruba, Esan , and other tribal organizations in town. Trust me, we are alive and well!
My dear, thanks. Could u connect me to any nigerian association for nurses? Would be awesome to join one.
