Nurses General Nursing

At least 20 times a day, I find myself saying "Dur" to myself. My boss says I'm doing great, but I feel like a big giant idiot. Normal?

I just started a new job (I'm on week 3 of orientation). I'm having tons of "duh" moments now! My preceptor says I'm doing great and I dont need her, yet I miss the littlest things (duh!). I think I want my 8-10 weeks of orientation, and then some!!
Dont worry about your duh moments - we all have them, whether new nurse, out of school a few years, or been a nurse for 20+ years.
I'm off to finish week 3 of orientation tomorrow - I'm sure I'll have at least 5-10 "duh" moments!
