Any new Macomb students???

I have heard the letters are out. Be checking your mailboxes!!!!! and let us know the good news!!!!

I am in A&P right now and enjoy the class. I will be starting nursing classes in the fall but I am not sure of my exact start date yet.

Just received my letter..I'll be starting in October. I'm really happy about that. I didn't want to start next year and it makes me feel like there is some semblance of progress.. :)

One more question: I just looked at the number of credits for NUR 151, 152, and 153...am I reading this right that it's only 3 credits?!? Since these are the only classes I'm taking I feel guilty it's nowhere near 12, or even 6 credits. Should I take another class while I take these or am I falling into a trap looking at the number of credits and these classes will take up plenty of time on their own?

Those three credits are going to seem like 20, believe me. You will have plenty of work to occupy yourself.

I haven't looked at the number of credits recently....

But since you are starting in Oct. the answer is

YES

It is only a few credits but it will feel like much more!

DO NOT take other classes while in nursing school (if you do not have to)

and IF you do not have to......do not work while in nursing school

(I know, nearly impossible for most people)
