I am thinking of applying to LSCC for fall of next year. I have all the prerequisites met already... I just need to take the HESI exam now. Is there a waitlist? And how many people do they usually accept? For those who are or were in their program... what did you think of it? ridiculous or doable?

There is no waitlist, acceptance is dependent upon good grades and your HESI score. They usually accept about 72 students per year, between both campuses, and if you don't get in the first time you apply, you must reapply the following year, and you are put back in the pool with everyone else applying.

I am at the South Lake campus and every single one of my instructors are very supportive and encouraging. The program is definately doable, and I highly recommend it!! =)

I'm waiting... application is in... I called and was told there were way more applications in this year than last year, I was feeling pretty confident once I have a 3.89 GPA and A's in all my sciences, plus a 96 HESI score. now I sit here wondering how many ppl have a 4.0 GPA and a 100% HESI score... This is going to kill me!!!! :banghead: I should have taken the HESI again and tried for a 100% score... I could've done it, but got lazy and thought that 96% was good enough and now I am thinking it might not be...
