Published

Just wondering if anyone knows of any lpn programs other than Americare without a waiting list and that are starting within a month or two? Hopefully with a evening schedule as well?

Hey Kgard!

If you are interested in going straight through the RN program herzing college has a pretty new one so I doubt there is a waiting list. Its private though, so Im sure its expensive.

Also check with O Tech and TECO (teco is in osceola county).

I believe Keizer (new building right off of I-4) has a LPN program but I don't know if they have a wait list. I also think there is another school in Lakeland but I don't know the name of it.

This is an old post, but I just graduated from Traviss Career Center in Lakeland. No waiting list. They have two classes a year, summer and winter. The whole program (books, uniforms, etc.) was about $3,000.

wow! It's over $4,000 now to go. I start in July. I had a question about clinicals . Did you go during school hours or did you have to stay late or go to the hospitals on weekends?

For the first block, we had theory Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Then clinicals Wednesday, Thursday. Blocks 2-4 clinicals were Tues, Wed, Thurs with theory Mon and Fri. I don't remember if we actually went over this or if they kinda just told us a couple weeks prior.
