Any information on USPHS?

I'm a nursing student graduating in two months. I have been doing research, and though some of my questions have been answered, I still have pressing questions that I hope someone out there can help me.

I understand that you have to apply for your own job, and must be willing to work there for at least two years. However, nowhere can I find how long I can work for. Is it like the military where you need to relocate every three years or so?

Also, I'm a new grad. Realistically, should USPHS even be an option because I have zero experience as a nurse, unless you count externships. Should I look in Navy Nurse Corps instead? Though my heart is in public health, I guess I just don't see how any government agency would be willing to hire me when I have no medical experience except for everything during nursing school. What happens if I'm all ready to go, OBC done and all, and I can't find a job?

    I thought it'd be a great career too (for a me a career changer even) until I called their recruitment hotline and talked to some ****head who didn't give a crap about anything I had to say or ask. Since then I've also decided that I want to live my life here in my state, and there aren't any USPHS positions here at all.

    There is no great wealth of information about the organization. Many of the people in it don't seem to like the management of it as no one can decide what they are supposed to actually do or be modeled like. Most of the campers aren't happy. They do have a discussion board, and here it is:
