I'm thinking about applying there. Anybody know the good, bad, and ugly?

I was offered a job there a few years ago and a lot of times I kick myself for not taking it. Very nice hospital.
I really don't think you can go wrong at either Huntington hospital to be honest. I have heard nothing but good things about either one.

I've worked in the ER there per diem for a little over 2 years. Co-workers are awesome, the bosses are really good to work for, but be prepared to work! It's extremely busy - often well over 200 pt/day, and staffing, like anywhere, is always an issue. They do well with trauma, and if you get an MI, it rocks - often door to cath lab in under 30 mins. The pay is good, and I always get what ever hours I ask for. But like I said - it's BUSY BUSY BUSY and can feel very understaffed and frustrating at times! I say go for it and see what you think. Like I said - it's an awesome bunch of people to work with!
Thanks for the input.
I don't mind working, but i don't want to work crazy--like, unsafe. I am leaving a floor that has too many cracks in it for the pts. to fall thru (which drives me crazy) and don't want to get into the same thing at St Mary's.
Any thought there?

CHH and St.M maintain good to excellent staffing levels in my experience. Loved working at both.

I am a student in clincals at St. Marys now and I love it. People are good and havent heard anyone say bad things about them staffing enough Nurse to PT ratio
