Any hiring in Fremont, San Jose or Hayward now?

Published

I am a legal working Chinese registered nurse searching for employment recently. Due to I have no working experiences here in U.S, most of the hospitals doesn't hire me. But at this time, I really need a stable job for ecnomic reason, could somebody give me some information or suggestions?

Will it be a good way to a volunteer in the hospital first?

Do you know any hospital or nursing home is hiring RN currently?

Thank you.

I do not know where you live exactly but if crossing the bridge is not too much for you try the VA or Stanford Both of which are in Palo Alto. You can also try Palo Alto Medical Foundation. They have sites all over the bay area. Hope that helps.:redpinkhe

You can go to www.colp.army.mil to see what jobs are available within the VA system in the Bay area. Palo Alto Medical Foundation is www.pamf.org if that doesn't work try googling sutter health jobs. Good Luck

Thanks, I forgot to tell where I stay at. I would like to search for a RN job in Fremont, CA. I tried Palo Alto Foundation already. The problem of mine is almost every hospital required RN have working experiences here in U.S. If I don't meet their minimum requirement I won't have a interview chance. How sad,..... I don't have any experiences here!

Have you tried Washington Hospital?

There is a nursing agency in the area that is called, I believe, Asian Network, that I would think would welcome you. Occasionally they advertise in the local newspaper. Try giving them a call. There is also a retirement community that looks for Chinese speaking personnel. That might be another possibility for work. Good luck.

Check with Kaiser Permanente (http://www.kp.org). There are several Kaiser facilities in the South Bay area. The one in Santa Clara (a short drive from Fremont) has many Asian RNs, staff, and MDs. There are many Chinese and Asian patients, many of whom speak Chinese and have not lived in the US very long. I would hope and think Kaiser would hire you! They also have new graduate training programs; it seems to me they would consider you! Best of luck.

Thank you for your sugeestions. I have tried Washington and Kaiser here in Fremont, but they required nursing experiences in U.S. I would like to call the Asian agency, and I am really appreciated for all of your reply.

Good Luck to you all.
