Any HCC LVN Students

To Jaky Speaks,

Will be taking the NET test again. I scored too low on the reading comprehesion. I couldn't finish on time, but I got 100 on Math. The Net test I took in 2003 is too old, and that time I scored 96 on math and 68 on Reading. Passing scores then were 60 on Math and 50 on Reading. My plans are to go ahead and take Nutrition and A&P in August before applying to the program. So that would leave me with 12 semester hours instead of 17. Hopefully, I will see you and Pink2004 in the Spring 07.

It dosn't surprise me. I scored a 100 on the math and a 69?79? on the reading, and I was sweating bullets. I don't think that the reading on the net is accurate or fair. Good luck. and be careful taking nutrition, they only accept the nutrition offered as RNSG, not the accademic Ntri or biol, be careful, or you'll just have wasted your time/money. I didn't take it in advance for this reason.

The courses I want to take are the VNSG 1216 Nutrition and VNSG 1320 A&P. According to Mrs. Johnson at the info session, it was alright to take them ahead of time. They only offer them in the Fall is what I understand. I will have to double check then. Thanks, I really don't want to waste time and money.

OOPS! you are right, "RNSG" or "VNSG". go for it. as long as they are not "BIOL" @ HCC . Good Luck!

i know this is a dumb question but are u only taking 2 classes in the fall. i looked at the third semster courses and the third semester ends on 8/10/07 unless they change it. what are we supposed to do after the 10th? Are we suppose to go to school or whatever in the fall or do we wait until we take the test? i read on the boards here that some tests may come in 2 months after graduation and that some people study for a couple of months. sorry for all the questions.

1)who r u talking to?

2)what test are you talking about? The NClex? If so I think that you register once you have enough clock hours to take the test. Anytime after that you can register to take the test, and it depends on when they have an opening to let you. you should ask this question on another thread (i.e- recent nursing grads forum) that way you can get the input of someone that's just been through it.

the first question was for kt24. the rest was for everyone. i was trying to make a plan for what i was going to do after i was done with the LVN program. Some places i read they said that they had to wait a couple of months before taken the nclex-pn. i was just wondering if i was able take some prerequisites for RN in Fall 2007. What are clock hours? sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the advice.

hello i wantto apply at hcc for the lvn program as well however i dont know where i can take the prereqs and everytime i call they tell me the same thing attend a meeting =] which i did and still no answer i was wondering if you could help me??
