Hi aktucker, I am in the Texas area and I am interested

It's a 60 -bed nursing facility. There aren't that many but still over 35. there is also the retirement and assisted living facilities connected on different floors. They said there will be another rn on another floor.

I was thinking that. They said one week because I worked as an Lvn for a few months a couple of yrs ago. I haven't had any calls from anywhere else. It's been a yr since I left school. I wonder if I could ask for more training after this week.

I finished nursing school last May and looked for a job everywhere. Last week I got an offer for charge nurse/nights at a nursing home. Because it's night I will be me and the can. I am really nervous. I will have 1 week orientation. ANy advice?

I would like to try this. I only have an ADN. I tried applying at positions with Bentaub, but I was decline week after week. I raduaed May 2012. I wonder if they only want BSN.

I finished my adn may 2012 and still found no job. I guess I might need this too. I don't know anywhere that offers this. SO is this similar to a clinical or is the like a test we have to fill out and pass.

yeah i'm having trouble finding a clinical site in the houston area too.

How are the clinicals? DO you have a RN preceptor. How many hours a week are the clinicals/ I thought it was 24 hours a week.

they haven't had a transition program in the past 2 yr. People were told they didn't have enough students applying. Had to look elsewhere.

How much was the test? Will they take cash or do they need a money order? So there is going to be sscience in it?

what are the two PE classes needed for San Jac? I wonder if we could take them at HCC?
