Honestly, as a HPU nursing school graduate I feel like i am only successful because I worked my *** off. During school I was on my toes at all times and went above and beyond because faculty and administration was never on it and very unorganized. I killed myself to make straight A's, do good in clinicals and luckily got a preceptorship on a tele floor. If you have it in you, I say HPU is good, but if your gonna sit back and just slide through I don't think its worth it for your career.
The program is very unorganized and relies on ATI to teach you what you need to know for the NCLEX. The sim lab equipment is outdated. There is very high turnover for instructors. The NCLEX pass rate is very low especially for what you're paying for. The classes have been moved to Waterfront Plaza and parking and traffic in this area is horrible! The school isn't as financially stable as it was in the past so I'd be worried that it will go bankrupt in the near future. If you have other options, I'd AVOID HPU!!!

Anyone else on here applying for the Spring 2020 semester?
I applied to the spring 2020 semester and I got in and most likely will be attending, what about you!

Do we have any HPU nurses? I need some input on the BSN program and if its a good program. Do they prep the students for NCLEX? and how are the faculty and professors?
