Any Georgia Highlands College applying for Fall 2009?

Just wondering if anyone else has turned their application in for the nursing program to start Fall 2009??? The wait is on...... :dncgbby:

I applied for GA Highlands 2009 too. Any idea when we should receive a letter?

I was told by the nursing office people that we should have the letters in our hands by the first or second week of May. **crossing my fingers*** I've worked so hard for this, it's driving me crazy now that it is this close.

Are you in your last classes now, or do you have all of your classes completed?

I have completed all my prereq's except Speech. (have previous degree) I'll take Speech in the summer if I get accepted. Also keeping fingers crossed!!

I too applied to this program for the LPN-RN bridge. I am currently enrolled in the last pre-req I need (human growth and development). Don't know how many they accept for the bridge, but I am praying to get in!!!

The acceptance letters for the bridge people have gone out, I didn't get in this year :-( It took a month and a half from the application deadline (March 1st for the bridge people) to receive it, so that should give you an idea of how much longer you have to wait. Best of luck to ya!

I was googling to find out if anyone had heard when the letters were going to be sent out for the GA highlands nursing program 2009. I have read from posts that it would be either late May or late June??? Has anyone heard anything? I am DYING to know if I get in or not.....

Starrdan2....Lately the nursing department has been telling us that they won't be sending out the acceptance letters until the end of June. Several different students have been told a couple of different time frames....so we don't know if they are saying the end of June to stave off the phone calls until they have them all mailed or what. The wait is driving us nuts!!!:grn: Let us know if you know anything different.

I just called up to the nursing dept to see if the time frame had changed....Still the end of June. I was hoping to find something out by the end of next week b/c I am scheduled to take the teas test for another school. Georgia Highlands is my first choice.

I was really hoping that we would have them by next week also. There are so many things that I have had to put off until later because it all hinges on that acceptance letter.

I guess no news is still good news though....even though that doesn't satisfy me right now.:hngon:
