Any G.E.D graduates? I got a question

Published

I dropped out of school when I was 14 and got my G.E.D when I was 18 and then went on in the medical field at a technology center. I am now wanting to go for my RN and have to take a HESI A2 test with chemistry on it! I have never ever ever took chemistry and I don't know where to even start. Anyone got any advice or know a good website that helps learn this stuff. Please help me...Please....

I dropped out, too. I left during 10th grade and got my GED at 19. I am not in a great BSN school at a prestigious university... don't worry.

Chemistry isn't anything to worry about. People get overwhelmed but it's just like math and problem solving put together. You just have to get the first concept down before moving on the the next and so on...

No advice on studying... just some encouragement from a fellow drop out!:nuke:

Specializes in no specialty! (have to graduate first!).

Do you have enough time left to take a class during the summer? Or try a tutor. At my school, there is a free tutoring service. I would definitely look into that. I graduated high school but I never took Chemistry so it was completely new to me too. It's hard for me because I'm no good at math. But I got through the class much easier with a tutor to explain things to me on an individual basis.
