Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations

I attended the open house last week and really liked the "feel" of the school. I will be taking some science classes at BMCC first and hope to apply for the AAS in 2019. I'm concerned about the cost and incurring additional loans but it will get me towards the finish line way quicker than going via the CUNY route. My plan is to only get the AAS thru them and do RN to BN in a more cost effective school.

Hello, I applied to the absn fall 2018 program. Did anyone else apply to that program? Has anyone gotten a response/ acceptance letter from pson?

@tinyspoons and @Paris614 thank you soo much for sharing that info about the math requirement! now im more confident about submitting my application. my bf is in nursing school right now and he had to take a math competency exam half way through the program but the only way it counted was if he got a 100% on it - I have a feeling this requirement is the same. its simple math for the most part but they stressed being able to round accurately.

Hello, brand new member of the site!

How do some of you seem to know how UF calculated your GPA? I just used a approximate based

on my last 60 credits + prereqs etc.

Also, does anyone know how UF considers "in progress" courses? I have spoken to

Mr. Wynn, and I was able to apply and received the personality test thing even though

I am taking 3 of my prerequisites now.

I do have a pre-med background from UCF, but the 3 courses I am taking is still big chunk of my

GPA (A&P 2, developmental psych, nutrition). I am confident I can ace all these classes, but was just wondering.

That being said I am very nervous too! One thing for sure is that for all of us, no matter the decision, hardships will always follow. I

really do pray that we all as health care professional hopefuls be able to get through it!

Hello everyone. I am taking the HESI A2 for PSON on 3/17; 2 weeks!! I'm excited but nervous at the same time, as I have been waiting for this opportunity for a while. I have a question for you lovely nurses to be. I know the HESI components as described on the PSON website says reading comp, math, and biology. But does biology include A&P as well, or just basic biology? Thank you in advance.

Hi Everyone,

I applied this past October to the ASBN program and have not heard any update back yet! I was wondering if anyone else who also applied to that program has heard anything yet? I was in touch with Maria and she did not have me apply through Nursing CAS so it's been hard to check the status of my application, i'm waiting on her to email me back. Very anxious to hear back already!!!

@tammybee I also applied to the ABSN Fall 2018 program and have not heard a word from them yet! Did you apply through Nursing CAS?

Yes I applied through nursing cas. They should be making a decision in a week or two. I think you should try calling them or emailing them soon.
