Any countries where men cannot be nurses?

Does anyone know of any countries where males cannot be nurses? I know in some cultures, women are forbidden from making eye contact with men who are not in their family. Does anyone have any info. on this?

I also thought I used to know everything, but I think I've forgotton most of what I used to know....senior moments and such. ;)

I can think of several male nurse coworkers from just about every culture but mid east, just off the top of my head (for what that's worth)

But this might be explained culturally vs anything forbidden..
